RaeAnne Thayne "Snow Angel Cove"

Another great RaeAnne Thayne book. In this book we meet Aidan Caine, brother to the Caines in Raeanne's series Hope's Crossing, and Eliza Hayward.
Eliza and her daughter Maddie move to Snow Angel Cove so Eliza can work as a manager at a hotel, but upon arrival learn their future has gone up in smoke. The hotel has burned to the ground. Eliza meets Aidan when she shoves Maddie out of the path of Aidan's SUV. Aidan hits Eliza who loses consciousness. She wakes up before the paramedics arrive, but she is still taken to the hospital. She has bumps and bruises and a headache. She wants to drive back to Boise but the Doctor disagrees, Aidan comes to the rescue. He asks her to stay with him, which she reluctantly accepts.
Maddie falls in love with the house, the caretakers Sue and Jim, Aidan's horses, and the Christmas tree they decorate.
Eliza is a widower, her husband Trent, was developing an app, he hoped to sell to a big company. He is denied and calls Eliza telling her he is going to a bar for a drink. She gets a call later that Trent has died in a one car accident. Eliza wonders if it was an accident, he was drunk, or if he committed suicide. 
Aidan had some health problems. He suffers from migraines because of it. His family doesn't know. His father was getting married and going on his honeymoon, so Aidan went to the doctor on his own. He tells his family what happened at christmas.
Maddie also has health problems, different from Aidan's. We only hear of her problems a few times in the book so pay attention.
Aidan invited his family and their spouses and children to Christmas. He hires Eliza to be his housekeeper and to help him with his families Christmas, complete with a sleigh ride through the snow. 
Aidan finds Trent's app details and contacts his code writer and his own team and produces the app. He shows Eliza and tells her what he is doing and gives her a check. She is so happy she cries and tells Aidan she loves him. He tells her he loves her and he proposes. Maddie and Aidan's dad catch them kissing. 
There was no epilogue, I want to know if Eliza had children, if they moved to Hope's Crossing to be with his family, and what happened to the icy patch that caused the accident where Aidan and Eliza meet. I will anxiously await for more books from this series.

Dare to Submit - Dare Series #4 by Carly Phillips

Decklan is Gabe's brother and if you read  Dare to Surrender, He is the police officer who arrested Isabelle.
Decklan still carries guilt from his parents deaths. He is a Dom, and meets Amanda at a club that her friend and boss Brad pays for her membership. Amanda is Brad's personal assistant, they met in college and have been best friends ever since. Brad is gay, and in a relationship with a man, but uses Amanda as his pseudo-girlfriend. He doesn't want to tell his family because his Dad is a senator.
Amanda and Decklan meet at the club, start talking, then go to his house and have some got sex. Amanda goes home before Decklan wakes up. 
She is missing Decklan so she goes back to see him. They spend her vacation together, going for a horse drawn carriage ride, and having lots of amazing sex, and some bdsm sex thrown in. 
Brad tells his Dad he is gay, and the Dad says he knew. He says he loves his son, and wants to give an interview about it, since he announced his candidacy for president. They go to New York for a luncheon and then will do the interview. 
Something happens...Decklan takes her to his apartment and they talk, sex it up, and talk some more.

Carly Phillips has went way past her normal writing with this book. All over her Facebook page she says this is her hottest book yet, and that is a 100% accurate description. 

I suggest you get these books and read them, you will not be disappointed.

Wild Iris Ridge by RaeAnne Thayne

Brendan has 2 small children with Jessie. Jessie died of an undiagnosed heart condition when she was pregnant with their 3rd child, a son. Lucy was Jessie's cousin and best friend. She moved back to Iris House, where she lived with her great-aunt, Annabelle, after she is fired from her job. Brendan and Lucy met before she went to an internship, and kissed, she gave Brendan her name and number but Brendan didn't call, he met Jessie, and started dating her, and one year later he proposed. Lucy has never forgotten that kiss, and tried to undermine their relationship to Jessie, but after they become engaged, she stopped. Lucy watches the kids when Brendan has to work, he is the fire chief of Hope's Crossing. 
Lucy wants to turn Iris house into a B&B, which was what Lucy and Annabelle wanted, and talked about doing before they passed away. 
Lucy's half sister Crystal is brought to stay with her by their mutual father after Crystal is expelled due to drugs. While going to the grocery store they meet Brendan and the kids, and Faith and Crystal hear a noise and discover 2 puppies in the dumpster! They get them out and take them to the vet and Faith takes the girl dog, Daisy, and Crystal takes the boy dog, Max. Brendan is not sure he wants to have a dog, but after seeing what the dog does for the kids, by teaching them responsibility, and bringing Faith out of her shell, he tells Lucy he can't take the dog away.
We are also invited to Carter's 6th birthday party! He invites Lucy and Crystal and they both promise to attend. Lucy and Brendan kiss, again, and Lucy says they have to stop because anyone could walk in and see them, and they are both not ready to deal with that.
Brendan and Lucy are tasked with cleaning the Wild Iris Ridge Trail, they kiss, and then fight when Brendan asks Lucy to wait for him to come to terms with Jessie's death, and wants to start a relationship with her. Lucy looses her sunglasses and goes back to find them but Max slides down the hill and Lucy goes to get him but she falls and breaks her ankle. Brendan finds out she is missing when Crystal calls 911 and reports it, Brendan goes to the ridge and finds her and tells her he loves her, he was so scared he was going to loose her. He stays with her until help arrives, and stays with her at the hospital also.
The end of the book is weddings! Brendan's sister Charlotte marries Spencer Gregory and his brother Dylan marries Genevieve Beaumont (who both have books in the series).

Hot Down Under Bundle 3 by Kylie Scott, Rhyll Biest, Cate Ellink, Keziah Hill

All four stories are very shorty, and almost all that happens is sex. Very hot sex! I wished that a couple of the stories were longer, wanted to read more about some of the characters.

The Moment We Began by Sarra Cannon

WOW ! I didn't think I would really get into this book when I first started it. But I am so glad I read it and finished it. Penelope is rich. She uses her money to help less fortunate in her hometown.  She tries to get her parents to give money to close to home charities, but they don't.  Pen has loved Mason forever, but he keeps pushing her away and telling her he is no good for her, we find out at the end of the book why he pushes her away.  SPOILER- After Pen is in a car accident from driving drunk,  She finds out she's pregnant. Mason tries to leave but Pen goes to say goodbye with luggage and ends up going camping with Mason.  They learn a lot about each other on this trip.  And meet some new friends.  Pen is very jealous when Mason talks to other girls, but later tells Penny that he never took a girl into his bed after Penny a year ago.  I laughed, I grimaced and I cried, but it all works out at the end.  Great book, I will be in the lookout for more from this series and this author. Definitely get this book, you will it be disappointed.  THIS book contains sex scenes, but they are romantic, not erotic.

Hell Without You by Ranae Rose

Clementine hasn't seen Donovan in 7 years, not since an incident that forced her to leave him with no contact.  Donovan came back to open a garage, and he bought Clementine's Grandmas house.  They spend time together and Donovan learns why she left, and what made her leave with no contact with him.  Donovan is hurt in 2 separate accidents, and Clementine takes care of him.  SPOILER :When someone close is murdered, Donovan is arrested, and Clementine does all she can to find the real killer.  Then the last person she expected (not Donovan!) confesses to her, but then goes home and commits suicide, due to the circumstances of why he said he did it. Great book, I really enjoyed it, and loved the way the author threw in some scenes from the past, that are relevant to the story, and help a lot for the reader to understand the present.

Awakening by Sydney Holmes

Spoiler- if you don't like erotic books with sex scenes, DO NOT read ! This is a very sex heavy story.
Nora is out with friends for her friend/coworker when she meets Ryan. The next day at her job as an event planner, Ryan comes in with his Aunt, but does not acknowledge Nora. Nora and her friends recognize him though.  Nora thinks that Ryan and the man from the club are brothers, not the same person.  Later Ryan does tell Nora that he is the guy from the club.  Nora is dating Darren by she dumps him. I did not like Darren, he was very rude and talked down to Nora all the time, he didn't even want her to wear heels because that made her taller than him! She wants to go to law school and that's why her and Darren fight a few times before she dumps him.
Nora meets Ryan's parents and also 2 ex-girlfriends, one of whom he works with.  
If you like Erotic romance books this if for you, but please be aware of what I wrote earlier, this has lots of sex scenes, with vulgar language which helps the scenes but might not be for every person. 

The Wedding Hope by Regina Duke

Great book !  Ashley goes home to tell her Mom that her Dad passed away.  She walks in on what she thinks is a crime scene.  She leaves after finding a note that her Mother left telling her to Run.  She gets in her car and drives away to find help and she finds Thor Security, and its owner Thor Garrison.  Thor is completely in love with Ashley at first site.  Ashley needs help.  He takes her back to the house and she finds some letters from her Dad to her Mom and takes them to read them.
Further complicating Ashley's problems is Thor's childhood friend and the daughter of his Mothers best friend, who assumes she will be the one to marry Thor, regardless of him always saying no, and never encouraging Britney Beth, (yeah that's her name). She is very annoying and quite rude to Ashley all the time.  Ashley sent a text to get Thor's Mom off his back about marrying and says he is engaged to Ashley.
Sort of a spoiler alert- We do not get to see Ashley find her Mom because she is in Witness Protection,  Based on what Ashley learned from Thor's godmother in Las Vegas I was hoping Wilhelmina (a clothing store owner across from Thor's building) would be her Mom, but she was not, or the Author is saving this for another book ?!?!  I would love to read more about Ashley and Thor, they were so fun, and he was so protective of Ashley.   Especially the last page of the book and what present she gets for Lulamae, the godmother.  An opening for another book ?

Waiting on You by Kristan Higgins

Colleen owns a bar with her twin brother Connor. She used to date Lucas in high school. They broke up when Lucas could not say he loved her. Colleen is the town matchmaker, she sets up couples and they eventually marry each other. She also has children named after her, even using the name Colin, by the couples ! We get to see Lucas and Colleen when they were dating in the past, and how those help them interact in the future. Lucas comes home because his Uncle is in the last stages of his life. He wants Lucas to help his cousin Bryce get a job and set him for life before he looses his Dad. We see how Lucas's Aunt treated him in the past when he lost his parent and they took him in, I hate his Aunt she is so mean to Lucas ! We also learn a secret from Colleens past, the night Lucas left, which he hates and dumps Colleen after they have reconnected. I recommend reading the first 2 in the Blue Heron series The Best Man and The Perfect Match. We meet both couple from each book, whom are not either couple in Colleen's impressive track record! Another great Kristan book, can she ever write a bad book ?!?!

The Mating: The Original Law of the Lycans Story

The best werewolf book I have ever read ! Elise and Kane make a wonderful Alpha couple. My sister bought the book, and told me about it and I just had to read it for myself, and I am so glad that I did. I finished this book, and immediately bought 2, and 3 about Ryne and Bryan, and I cannot wait to read those books tomorrow. I have found a new favorite author, and I cannot wait to read more from her! I recommend this to anyone who likes werewolf books, read about it on the book description section, and buy it! You will not be disappointed!

Walking On Air by Catherine Anderson

Gabe Vance is an infamous gunslinger who is shot dead on Christmas morning. Before dying he glimpses a beautiful woman staring at him. He wakes up to a rickety shack and 2 angels, Michael and Gabriel. The angels go through all the bad things, that Gabe has done in his life. That scene, all of chapter 2 is funny and heartwarming . The angels tell him they can give him one chance to go back to earth and save a list soul. They show him 3 people and have Gabe choose. He picks Nan, the woman who watched him die.
He is sent back to Earth on Thanksgiving Day, to save Nan and her little sister Laney, by basically making them fall in love with him, and teaching them that no 2 men are the same and even the ones with the worst reputations and scariest first impression can change your mind and you can fall in love with him.
I don't want to give a lot away, but I can tell you regardless if you have ever read Catherine Anderson or not, I urge you to read this book, the front cover has a quote from Debbie Macomber- "Emotional and Heartfelt, her stories make you believe in the power of love" 100% True ! I have read ever single Catherine Anderson listed in the front of this book, and 'Walking on Air' has moved up to #1 on my favorite list, so far...

Come Home to Me by Brenda Novak

Aaron and Presley, who we first me it When Snow Falls. Aaron is Dylans brother and Presley is Cheyennes sister.
Since we last saw her, Presley is back home is Whiskey Creek with her young son, Wyatt. She is renovating space to open a yoga studio/massage parlor.
Aaron and Presley have both kicked their drug habits. We don't really read a lot about their drug habits in this book, based on what happened in When Snow Falls, I thought their would be more about it than there was. I actually liked it reading that much about it. It shows that they have matured and do not feel the need to speak about their past problems.
SPOILER ALERT - if you did not guess from in When Snow Falls, yes Wyatt is Aaron's son. Presley does not tell tell Aaron, he hears about rumors from his brother and confronts Presley and she admits that Wyatt is his.
Throughout the book Aaron is trying to get Presley to date him before he moves to Reno, 3 hours away, to open a franchise of Amos Auto Body Shop.
Aaron's after is still in prison but due to be released in 3 months after the end of the book. He is remarried and we meet his wife and her 16 year old daughter. Te new wife is 1 year younger than Aaron which he finds disturbing.
Cheyenne and Dylan are trying to get pregnant. Cheyenne sends some of Dylan's sperm to a lab and finds out he is sterile. They keep trying it she is still not pregnant. She asks Aaron to "contribute" and he agrees. She uses Aaron's sperm, artificially inseminated herself, and at the end of the book she is pregnant. Dylan assumes he is the father.
I liked this ever since u read When Snow Falls, I wanted to know what happens to Presley and if she admits she is pregnant with Wyatt's baby.
