 Poppy is a social worker, cheated on and divorced from her husband. She doesn't want to get involved with another Doctor. Benedict is an orthopedic surgeon. They like each other and the tension practically sets the room on fire. They give in one night and she ends up pregnant. Benedict has to make her trust another Doctor, so they can raise their child together. Just like the other 6 books in the series they get a happily ever after.

First Kiss Before Frost

 Lulu is a dancer on a cruise ship who hides out from a criminal on Tristan's boat. He was injured in the last book, and with his resulting brain surgery, He doesn't think He can win Mayor of Lost Harbor against a rooster, yes the actual animal. Lula has been bouncing around jobs since she lost her Mother. He wants to protect her, but only temporarily.

This is the 11th and (for  now) final book in the Lost Harbor Alaska series. They are wonderful books. They don't need to be read in order but characters show up in all the books that were introduced before. I do hope maybe in the future there might be more Lost Harbor books.

Together in Good Hope

 Theo is the new Doctor in Good Hope. Izzie is the resident artist, who is painting mural at businesses around Good Hope. She has painted the Doctor's office, and is going to start at Bea's book shop soon. Theo and Izzie dated in high school. She got pregnant, but unfortunately lost the baby. He went to college on a football scholarship. They are the newest to be matched by Gladys and her friends. They don't want to be matched. Izzie would prefer to see him as an acquaintance, Theo wants Gladys to help him become Izzie's friend again. They spend time together, start to get to know who they other is now. Theo is offered his dream position in San Diego. Izzie is upset, and walks away from him. After talking with Bea, she goes to find Theo. He was on his way to see her and say he was going to stay in Good Hope. They talk about a lot of things, say 3 words, and Izzie has some very exciting news.

Can't wait for more stories in the Good Hope Series., but this is book 17, how many more people can Cindy introdue us to ? Hopefully at least 3 more to make a nice round number of 20 in the series.

Enemy Heir by Carrie Ann Ryan

 Sparrow is a private investigator. She works with Wilder, the Prince of Alden. Breck, the heir to their older brother Roman, the King of Alden is also around. Sparrow has a hate hate relationship with Breck, she caught him with 2 women and thinks that is all he does. But he is acrually the tech geek of the family and has invented apps that he sells. Sparrow is injured in 2 incidents before the find out who is behind the attacks. A man, Truman Nix, who raped and abused his wife, whom Sparrow helped escape him, and at least 5 other women is out of prison on a technicality. He is looking to either find his wife through Sparrow, or wants another woman to abuse. It's not him though, it's men he is sending. Sparrow and Breck have sex the second time she is injured.  They become a couple while searching for Nix. They are lead into an ambush, until Nix reveals himself. Sparrow takes a Kannon stand in to meet with him. Sparrow subdues him, and the Kannon stand in subdues his guards. She runs to disarm a bomb, while the Kannon stand in gets Nix out of the building. She can't disarm the bomb  so they clear the buildings and streets to protect people. She has to jump out the window, unfortunately Nix escapes and finds her. The Kannon stand in shoots and kills him. She and Breck are ok, and they have a party. London is heavily pregnant, but doesn't give birth, yet...

There is a bonus epilogue. Up next is, based on the ending, Onyx and Wilder. We will have to wait and see.

Just One Spark by Carly Phillips

 Dash Kingston is the lead singer of Original Kings. After a pregnancy scare with a groupie his manager tells him to clean up his act. He uses Cassidy, his new bandmates sister, as a fake girlfriend, but it soon turns real. After a thing from his past come to light, he goes on air to explain his side and what happened. Cassidy is there for him through everything. The band fires their manager. Cassidy gets an offer to work in L.A. at Netflix, but gets off the plane, Dash goes to the airport to go to L.A. and she finds him waiting for his flight. They say 3 words, and the epilogue introduces a very impotant boy.

Up next is Aurora and Nick Dare, who may just be her daughter Laura's father.

My Bad Decisions by Carrie Ann Ryan

 Natalie and Tanner are the last roommates. They have been fighting around each other through the entire series. It finally come to an end when they kiss, and she gets a positive pregnancy test. They start dating. Things happen, but people are ok,this was a great end to the series. There is a bonus epilogue for download at the end of the book.

Home for the Holly Days by Cindy Kirk

 Krista is a famous supermodel, Dustin is a Stanley Cup winning MVP. They knew each other in Holly Pointe VT, growing up but left after high school. 10 years later they are both back, and the mayor wants them to work together to promote the towns holiday traditions. They want to use famous people,  but those famous people are expensve to book.  They decide to use themselves as the 'Holly'wood stars to promote the festival. At the Ball at the end of the festival, Dustin announces big news, and tells everyone he loves Krista. He asks an important question, and the epilogue is the answer to that question.

Inked Devotion by Carrie Ann Ryan

 Brenna is an honorary Montgomery. She is friends with everyone. She is on her way to a family reunion. Benjamin asks to go with her, just to get away for awhile. His ex and her wife asked him to be the donor for their baby. Brenna is going through fertility treatments to have her own baby. There is a washout from the heavy rains, so they are stuck at a motel. They get drunk, and have sex. The day she is in for her insemination, the doctor tells her she is already pregnant. She tells Benjamin that she is pregnant, he is excited, they decide to be friends who will raise their baby together.  They are at the bar with everyone, and as they head home they get hit. Both are ok, and so is baby. They talk, the say 3 words.

The Bonus epilogue at the end is the birth of their daughter. Laura and Michelle have a boy.
Up next is Paige in Inked Craving, who did not get a proposal in the epilogue of this book.

Slowburn by Starlight by Jennifer Bernard

Ruthie is the director at the lighthouse museum. She is getting with the older generation of Lost Harbor to interview them, and tape their stories, so others can hear what life was like. Alastair is the Chef. He and Ruthie call each other work husband and work wife. Ruthie loves Ralphie, her childhood best friend. He doesn't interact with her as a prospective boyfriend. They grew apart when Ruthie left town for college. Alastair just received a letter about an inheritance from his deceased sister, Carole. She died in a plane crash some years ago with her husband. They were coming to Lost Harbor to adopt a baby. Ruthie bids on Alistair at a bachelor auction for the fire dept. They kiss, but don't really talk about it. They begin a sexual relationship, all over town, her attic, his home, a room at the Inn during a dinner party for the re opening. He finds info about his sister, she finds info about the initial settlers of the town. She goes in front of the town during a town meeting. She is pushed out by the townspeople, but she fixes it at the next town meeting.  Words are said, questions are asked, but it's not the happily ever after, yet.

Just One Chance by Carly Phillips

 Xander is the consultant on a movie being made  based on a book he wrote. Sasha is an ex, and the leading actress in the movie. Xander is still working through the injuries he sustained after an IED blast while he was in the marines. Sasha goes to Xander to learn all she can about the character she will be playing. Sasha has received threatening fan mail. Xander goes into protector mode, and hires bodyguards. He also moves her into his apartment in NY, to be closer to her and the set of the movie. The movie is over, but Sasha is hurt when her stalker finds her. They have a tiny fight when her manager offers her some more films. Xander goes back to his house in the Hamptons. Sashs goes to his house and they talk, and work everything out.

The epilogue is Jordan gives birth to her and Linc's child.
Up next is Dash and Cassidy. Dash may be a father, but Cassidy isn't the Mother, we're waiting to find out the results of the paternity test.

 Nessa is heading into her senior year, last semester of undergrad. Miles is the resident geek with glasses also heading into his last semester. Since Pacey is now with Mackenzie, Nessa is always telling people yes she had a major crush on Pacey but she is over that.  She is trying to get money for college, thinking about what she wants to do with her life. Miles is helping her with her homework in statistics class. They are friends, they fool around but neither wants more, not knowing what will happen after graduation. They eventually fall into a sexual relationship. Nessa knows that they can't keep going, Miles knows she is not for him. Miles had a twin that died, and Nessa lost her Mom. They talk about them sometimes.

Nessa has an ex that she thinks is sending her flowers. They are hurt by this ex, who is going to jail. They are both ok. They talk, Nessa has sold a book trilogy she wrote so she can afford college. They admit things, apologize for things, and say 3 words to each other. They are looking forward to going to grad school together in CO. She can stay near her Dad, he can stay near his little brother Aaron, and his parents.

 Makenna is running for the elevator, she calls out to hold it, and Caden stops the doors from closing. McKenna asks him to hit the lobby button for her. As soon as the elevators close and start down, they elevator stops and the power goes out. Makenna comments that it's so dark, she can't see her hand in front of her face. Caden starts to have a panic attack, but with Makenna talking, he doesn't have one. They talk, and learn about each other. Caden is an EMT, Makenna is a accountant. Makenna shares a bottle of water and trail mix with Caden. They start making out, and they have relations. As soon as they are done, the lights come on, and they hear people say they will have them out soon. Caden offers a ride home, where Makenna invites him in. They go to bed, and the next morning they both say they loved that elevator.

Love in the Light.
Makenna and Caden have been together since the elevator in Hearts in Darkness. Makenna invites Caden to come with her to her family's Thanksgiving. They go, meet her Dad and brothers. Cadens EMT training comes in handy when her Dad and 2 brothers, and a brothers girlfriend are in a car accident due to snowy, icy roads. They are all ok, just some bruises, and a broken arm. They get back home, but Caden is spiraling down. They have a fight and Caden leaves before Makenna can give him some awesome news. They don't see each other for awhile, but his captain takes him to his home to help get Caden out of his head. Caden goes to a therapist, talks, and calms down. Makenna tells her Dad and brother's she is pregnant. Caden is ready to leave work and is asked to help out at the scene of a multi car accident. Makenna is involved in the wreck, she is ok, Caden learns he's gonna be a daddy. Baby is ok. They tell each other 3 words, and get back together with their baby between them. 5 months later Makenna gives birth to their son.
Forever in the Light.
They get married with their families, and son in attendance. They still say to each other that The Love...that elevator.
