Christy is a motivational speaker about marriage, putting God and your partner first. She and David have known each other for years. They used to date. They meet up in Vegas and decide to get married. David needs to get married to get his company from his Grandfather. The have someone in their marriage, Lauren. She has loved David as long as Christy has. David was actually going to propose to Lauren, and she knew it, and was excited for it. David is married but Lauren does her best to show David what he missed by not picking her.  There are people trying to break up their marriage, spreading rumors, and talking behind their backs. Luckily everything is sorted out at the end of the book. Christy has their son, Max. In the epilogue she tells David she is pregnant again.
