From Our First by Carrie Ann Ryan

 Nate Brady is the last Brady kid, and this is his story. He was married to Myra when they were in college together. Her parents found out and in order to bring her back home, the faked photos to show Nate she was cheating. He believed the photos, wouldn't let Myra explain and left her. Her family came back to tell her that her Grandma Sharon died, and they were there in Boulder for the reading of the will. Nate shows up when her parents are at her house, and they both realize that her parents broke them up. Myra tells the girls, and Nate tells his brothers. His twin Arden already knew. 

The spend time together, she deals with family issues from her Grandma's will. She and Nate fight, they both get hurt, but they talk through things at the hospital. Both are ok.
Epilogue is a party.

He finds Angel's backpack, which unfortunately holds her real driver's license. Jake has some questions when he finds out they are the same age, and she has a picture with Tony, her cousin, a former substitute teacher. He knows Tony left around the time undercover cops showed up last time. He and the principal don't know about Angel this time. Angel finds out who the person is who is selling, and follows him. She finds bigger news, and then the place blows up ! No one is seriously hurt, just minor burns and injuries. Angel has to tell Jake the truth, and he finds out after talking to Tony, who admits Angel is a cop. He watches her receive an award, they talk, admit some things, say special phrases, and say yes to important questions. Up next is Crow and Sara in As if You were Mine.

 Raven was fired from her job. Her bosses kids got controlling shares of his company, and sold it to make money. Raven was on the verge of a medical breakthrough for diabetes when she was let go. She goes him to  , and falls asleep. Jack  borrows the house for a long weekend from his friend Lark, Raven's sister. They are suppsed to make a note if someone will be there, but Lark forgot so Raven thought she would be alone. There's no place for Jack to go, so Raven says he can stay. They start having sex, and spending their time together. Her former assistant is kept on and finds out the Jack is the one who bought the company and fired over half the workers, and Raven. She tells Raven who confronts Jack. She is very upset about being let go, and all her former coworkers who were also let go. She gets off the island, and goes home. Jack does things she doesn't like, ending with buying a car just like hers that was totaled in a storm. She takes it to him to tell him she doesn't want it. They talk, and talk, he quits his job, and they say ver special words to each other.

 Maya is the police chief of Lost Harbor. Rune is a childhood friend she met while vacationing in Hawaii. Rune is a travel LPN who is helping take care of Harris, Maya's dad, who had a heat attack in the previous book. Maya is on a dating freeze, she was dumped by her boyfriend 5 years ago, and hates dating. The girls tell her to date Rune while he is here, but she starts avoiding him. She decides to ask him to be her fake holiday boyfriend, where they go to parties together. He agrees, and they go to plenty. Rune's sister Cara is a 17 year old senior in high school. They move around because she has a stalker. She first was friendly to him, and he took it too far. They are stil looking out for him, because he keeps finding them. Maya knows what is going on and also on the lookout. We see Maggie, or S.G. as she used to be know, in this book. She becomes friends with Cara. Maya sets us a meeting for Maggie to meet her Mom, Kelsey. People are hurt, Maya says important words, people are ok, and everything is cleared up at the end of the book.

 Ivy is the 7 year old daughter of Widower Seth. His sister Anna is good friends with Lauren. Ivy is injured in an ATV accident, and Seth asks her to move in with them to help him care for Ivy. She sustained a broken arm and leg and a mild concussion. This is not a story about only Ivy, it's the love story between Lauren and Seth. Seth is injured at a fire, smoke inhalation, and he and Lauren have some moments. They go to a party together where Seth is jealous she gets asked out by a guy. On their way home they find an injured dog, Seth is almost a vet, so they fix him up and Ivy names him Bailey.

Seth's wife makes him promise not to marry again until Ivy is out of high school. He thinks it's because of a possible evil stepmother situation. Ivy is on the verge of receiving a PhD is Psychology. She decides to leave because Ivy will no longer need her soon. Seth asks her not to leave him and tells her he loves her. She tells him she loves him and Ivy also. He propses and a month later they are married. Seth is going to continue his education to become a vet. Ivy wants to open a small practice and teach classes online, in Sweet River.

 Macon is a vet and another Brady brother. He was shot protecting Hazel and he has some ptsd, they don't call it that in the book, I call it that. Dakota is a single Mom to 5 year old Joshua, and she owns The Boulder Bean. Macon does some boxing, and Dakota doesn't like it because her ex, Joshua's Dad, hit her before she left him. Macon quits, he was using it to get his anger and rage out from the shooting. Adam, the ex, is out of prison (drug charges), and breaking a protection order Dakota has. He wants Joshua, he hasn't come out and said his name, but he leaves notes for Dakota to find. Macon moves into the guest bedroom to help protect Dakota and Joshua. They found a new Mommy cat with 4 babies, that they are taking care of. 

Adam shows up, bad things happen, but everyone is ok, and Adam is going to prison.

 Piper owns Swoon, the wedding dress store. Anders is Beck's brother, who is spending the holidays with him and Ami and their 2 kids. Anders used to work in advertising, but quit because he didn't like things he did to get a client. While in Good Hope he starts winter sports tours to help out Fin. Piper was dating a guy, Heath, who cheated on her. That guy is now engaged to her sister Sasha who, along with their parents, don't know that he cheated. Piper hasn't told them. Sasha and their Mother come over during Thanksgiving weekend to pick out a dress. Their Mother says it will be Piper's wedding gift, but Sasha assures her they will be paying like any other bride. Piper has opportunity to tell Sasha but doesn't. They think Anders is Pipers boyfriend, because Gladys said that, and Piper doesn't correct them. Anders wants them to pretend while her family is in town. When they leave, they don't realliy talk about it, but they each think about keeping it going. 

Piper has come to the decision to close Swoon, she is not selling enough each month to make it through. Anders had a business plan, and taking with his Brother and some business associates, they say that Swoon would be a perfect location, Anders says No, unless Piper decides to leave. He doesn't tell her, and when she hears about it, she thinks he wanted her to fail, she doesn't give him a chance to explain anything.
He finally talks to her, and explains everything. She also hears from Sasha, who learned about Heath, and basically drops Piper for not being honest with her.

I think there will be a story about Sasha later, who has a moment with Ethan in this book.

 Macy has custody of her sister Hannah, after their Father passed away. Hannah's Mother, Lilah has returned after she walked away about 4 years ago. Hannah is excited to have her back, Macy won't give her up without a fight, or a judge's ruling. Jaxon is a baseball player known for being with multiple women. His team managers want him to settle down, and stop being seen out so much with so many different women. Macy needs a husband to help her keep custody of her sister. They agree to a marriage to benefit both of them, and it will be a real marriage. They marry, honeymoon and move Macy and Hannah into his house. Hannah stays with her Mom and overhears her Mom's boyfriend saying stuff about them getting money when she gets custody of Hannah. Hannah goes home after realizing her Mother was using her to try to get money. It's a trust from her Dad that Macy is the trustee of. Lilah drops the custody suit and leaves. Jaxon and Macy say 3 words to each other and stay together even though the custody suit is over.

 Aaron is a Montgomery, his brother is Ethan, He is a glass blower. Madison McClard is a cousin to Lincoln who is with Ethan and Holland. She owns a cafe and does the baking. Lincoln is having an art show and Madison's parents show up with a man she will be marrying. Madison says No, but her Mother calls her fat, and tells her no man will want her without the promise of money. Aaron overhears and announces that they are actually engaged. Lincoln goes along with it to keep up with her parents. They date, her Mother basically forces them to go on a weekend vacation with them. They reluctantly go, and Guy,the guy her Mom wanted to set her up with is there. A huge storm comes through, and Guy, forces Madison with him, he needs her money and he will force her to marry him to get it. She gets hurt, and so does her Mom who tries to rescue her, Aaron saves them, and gets them inside. He breaks it off, and tells her to go be with her parents while her Mom recovers.

After talking to Ethan and Lincoln he goes to see Madison, and she agrees to be his girlfriend and date him. The epilogue features some cheese and some interesting family news, and the futures of more books.

 Ethan is a PI, who was brought to Lost Harbor by Police Chief Maya Badger to find out anything he can about S.G. Jessica owns the Bakery/B & B. Ethan gets a coucher from Maya to stay at the B & B. Maya's dad gets sick, so she tells Ethan to head home, and they will try again when Maya has time. Jessica decides to have Ethan stay and she will help him with his search. They go into Lost Souls Wilderness to try to find the cabin that S.G. was in. While in the woods, somone sinks Jessica's float plane that they used to get there, cuts up their tent and sleeping bags. They find a man named Alistair staying in the run down shack S.G. was held in, and they find S.G.'s Mom, Kelsey, at a beautiful lodge. Maya picks them up and takes them back to Lost Harbor. S.G is taking the name of Maggie, that Kelsey gave her.

Up next is finally Maya's story. Maybe a sexy giant named Rune who is her Dads new home health care nurse, or could it be Alistair, whom Ethan will be working for to find out what happened to his family ? I can't wait for Maya's story.

They start taking about Meredith being Aaron's accountant. Zia says she needs an accountant, and tells Meredith she is a makeup artist. Meredith and Zia go on a date, dancing, then back home and have sex. They begin dating, with benefits. Meredith's abusive ex husband shows up and scares them both. Meredith kicks Zia out, so she can be by herself. Zia leaves but then goes right back over. They talk, explain some things, and clear everything up. Zia gets a tattoo from Callie, and in the epilogue they get some edible body paint from Maya. We don't have scenes with either, they are talked about after. Meredith's friend (and ex) Aaron Montgomery is up next in Seduced in Ink.

He proposes again, telling her he loves her again and again. She accepts and they tell Emma she is staying with them forever.

Her parents were abusive, and had a hand in killing her younger sister Tracey. Paris has nightmares, she is attacked after work one night, she has a concussion, bruised ribs, and some cuts and scrapes.
She has gone on 6 blind dates, and then on her first day back to work after the accident she asks Prior out for coffee, after talking they decide on a raincheck. She goes home and has a very hot sex dream about him. He invited her on a date, they see his recent ex who cheated, they go back to her place and her dream becomes real life. She tells him her scary, harmful, sad past, and they sleep holding each other, and she doesn't have a waking up screaming nightmare.
Bad people show up and hurt them, Prior is in the hospital, they say 3 words to each other. There is a bonus epilogue at the end of the book.

She asks some questions to his teammates, coaches, doctors, etc to find anything out that can help Damon. They pretend they are dating so she can stay close to him. She also deals with a dangerous stalker ex.
They find out who set up Damon and why they did it. The find and arrest Evie's ex. Damon plays a game and asks an important question.

They spend time together, kayaking, windsurfing, he escorts her to a coworkers daughters quinceanera. He flys her to a remote hospital to check on patients, and a storm grounds them, they stay overnight, but don't spend a lot of time sleeping.
The spend time together, he finishes the work on her house.
She says 3 words to him, he thanks her and leaves, sure he is not worthy of her. He realizes he is an idiot, goes back to grovel, they talk and he says the 3 words back to her.

Grandma Emma is a peony farmer, and Kate helps her. Darius and the fire department is still working on the arson fires that someone in Lost Harbor keeps setting. Kate has to go to LA for a deposition in a case, the one connecter to her Father, so she takes Darius as her bodyguard. She gives her deposition, and that's the end of that.
A boy named Dylan shows up, turns out Darius got his ex pregnant, and she didn't tell him. Darius moves him in, and tries to teach him hockey, specifically how to skate first, which doesn't happen.
We find out who has been setting fires, and Darius and Kate say 3 little words.
S.G. wants to find her family, which Maya will help her with, probably in the next book titled Love at First Light.

Hazel is a Math Professor at the University of Boulder. Cross co-owns a Furniture making business with Chris. Chris Cross Furniture, the name made up by his sister Arden (from Wrapped In Ink with Liam Montgomery). They meet by accident. Hazel and her 3 bff's decided it was time to date, Hazel is up first, her date had an emergency and couldn't make it. Cross went in place of Chris to meet a potential client. They then decide to finish their 'date'. They exchange numbers, and text, and go on dates. The girls text because they realize that Hazel and Cross had sex. So it's a whole conversation involving eggplant emojis.
Cross asks her to his office, but it's a setup by Thomas who went into business with Chris to steal from the business, which Cross figured out before. Macon, Cross's brother is there and gets hurt. Thomas drags Hazel off with Chris. He hits Hazel and ties her up. Chris leaves to do something Thomas told him to do, comes back and Thomas shoots him. Cross shows up, Thomas also shoots him. Hazel wrestles the gun from Thomas and kills him. In the hospital she tells Cross it's over. He heals up and goes to her, they talk and she apologizes for leaving. They make up.
There is a scene with Myra and Nate, but they don't do anything besides look at each other.

Bristol is writing music, her ex and possible collaborator Colin helps her finish a song. He kisses her, she shoves him away, but Marcus catches them. She apologizes but he breaks it off. Colin shows back up, and hurts her. Colin is arrested sitting in her driveway after she calls 911. Marcus goes to the hospital, they talk and they get back together. The epilogue is her brother Aaron sells a painting, so they have a party.

They go back home and settle Jenny in bed, then go to bed themselves where they talk and each says some important words. The epilogue is a few weeks later, they are waking up together. Damon, Austin's brother the football player, has tested positive for illegal substances, her swears he never knowingly took anything. Up next is Dare to Tempt about Damon and Quinn's best friend Evie, a private investigator.

They are named as Beta and Tracker for the pack, and are having a mating ceremony later.

Jonah, a jaguar shifter is the caregiver for Penelope, the daughter of Eliana the Phoenix. He loves taking care of her. He goes to the bar and meets Poppy, who is a Medusa, but glamoured so her hair looks normal. He looks into her eyes, and realizes that she is his mate. There are gorgons, lesser Medusa's, after her. She killed her human boyfriend when the Queen and her sisters put a spell on Poppy. They escape, but get found again. Poppy saves the day, and at the end they mate.

Calypso is a mermaid shifter. Misha bursts into an Conclave, their governing body, meeting and demands to be heard. The elders force Caly to find out what he his, and what exactly he wants. He sees her, then disappears into the shadows to talk to his cousin. He tells him he found his mate and is going after her. He tracks Caly to her home in the mer-realm. One of his kind shows up, and hurts Misha. He admits he is a Vampire, an Immortal, that can't be killed because they are already dead. She gives him blood to heal him, but gives too much. He gives her blood back or she will die. This starts their mating. She knows they are mates, and completed the bond with him, to save themselves. They petition the Conclave to be able to join, and are allowed.

Eva is a banshee, her mate, Ashen, is a reaper. She is his first, but they realize they are mates, and he passes out. They travel to the human realm to find help. They find his Mom and Brother, excited to see him alive. They bond, and mate each other. The epilogue is just a visit to a lot of the people we meet in the previous books, and their families. Is this the end of Dante's Circle ??

Caleb wants to distance himself from Zoey so he invites a friend to the wedding. At the hospital he and Zoey talk, and he admits he wanted to stay away because he wasn't sure what the doctor would say about his migraines. He's fine, the doctor is very optimistic about new treatments for Caleb.

Bea's friend Piper owns a clothing store, and does not want to move locations. Gladys wants to set Clay up and devises The Bachelor Games, she sets him up on blind dates. She actually says she would never set him up with Bea, but luckily they do that all on their own.
According to the last page, we have to wait until October of 2020 to get another Good Hope book, I am not sure I will be able to wait that long.

They stop talking and seeing each other, but then Nate tracks her down helping the girl they found, and they admit they love each other after he rescues her.

They think it was the guy who killed Levi (fraternity in college). Some of the issues are from a rival nightclub owner, who admits to what he had done. Scarlett and Tanner are spending a lot of time together. It all comes to a head when the instigator of these issues shows his hand, and Tanner drops him. He is arrested, and Scarlett knows its time to move out. One week later, they talk and she moves back in, and get a ring !! Next up is Levi.

Jack turns out to be Nick, a family lawyer, who helps Lexi with her troubles. The end is Nick coming back after going home to Dallas when his former fiancee and coworker sees him on the news and comes to get him.

She has 2 daughters with him and right now she is living with her sister's family. Tobias works for New Horizons as maintenance man. Tobias will not tell Haper that he was in jail, nor the reason. They start a sexual relationship, until Harper's ex- husband keeps calling and texting her. Tobias wants her to be happy, even if she chooses her ex over him. She doesn't choose the ex.
Later Axel, the ex, hears people talking about Tobias, and why He was in jail. He goes to tell Harper, and she breaks things off with Tobias. She is leaving to go back to Denver when Atticus, the boy Tobias hurt stops her, and tells her everything. She goes to talk to Tobias, who at first shuts her down, but she won't let that happen. So they talk, and say some words to each other.

Great book. Love this series. I hope Atticus gets a book.
