The Rebel by Jennifer Bernard

Kai Rockwell is a paramedic who comes home after 15 years away to try to save the family legacy, a mountain lodge. Nicole is the home health aide who is taking care of Kai's father "Mad" Max Rockwell. Nicole has been tasked by a friend to spy on the happenings at the lodge. This friend wants to get the lodge for her realty company. Nicole agrees because she needs money to keep her sister in a special home for her needs.
The might have been 'enemies' at first site, but by the end they were together. He found her sister, and why she spied on them.
Another fantastic book to start a new series by Jennifer Bernard. Cannot wait to read more of this series.

Billy is a member of WFC. Shayna is the sister of his best friend Ryan. Shayna got a job in D.C., and Billy offered her a place to stay. They hang out, she goes to the WFC gym with him. One night they move past friends, into dangerous territory. They go on like it didn't happen, and Shayna starts looking for another place to live. The apartment hunt and her possible roommates are funny. She takes a coworker to look at rentals when Billy has work, he's a P.I., and Shayna is a photographer for a newspaper. Her coworker offers a room in his house, and she accepts. She goes to take photos, on the way out there is an accident, she is ok just some bumps and bruises. Billy sees what is happening on facebook, and He goes to her. He tells her He loves her, and she says it back. They go back home, finally consummate their relationship, and call Ryan who is happy they are together.

Restless Ink by Carrie Ann Ryan

Thea Montgomery is the sister of Shep from Delicate Ink. Dimitri is divorced from her best friend Molly. She has a game night and invites him, after everyone leaves they kiss. They also have sex, but almost immediately after, Thea has regrets on her face. Then he gets a phone call and leaves, Thea says they are done, but Dimitri says they are not. Thea talks to Molly and she says she supports a relationship between them, but then things start happening. Her bakery is damaged, she and her brother in law are injured, a flour order is wrong, she feeds Dimitri shrimp and he is allergic. Thea thinks its Molly doing all these things, and she's right.
They admit they love each other, and they get his dog back from Molly, he couldn't have him at his apartment. Everything is cleared up at the end of the book. I hope the next book is about the Brother in law who is married to Thea's sister Roxie.
