Kane McDermott is a police officer. Kayla Luck has taken over her Aunt's business, Charmed!, after she and her husband passed away. Kane think it's a front for a prostitution ring, or so an up-and-coming politician had claimed. He didn't want to be caught up in what is going on so the police are going by what they were told. Kane is hesitant to believe anything after meeting Kayla. His job is to get to know her and the inner workings of the business. They find evidence of some big names in a puzzle book, which points to shady dealings. They deal with a guy intent on getting those books. The police get the guy, who sings like a canary, giving the police big names. Kane and Kayla talk it out, and get to 3 words.
