Uncommon Pleasure by Anne Calhoun

** spoiler alert ** Great book. The only bad part of course was the book just wasn't long enough. I know they are short stories of course, but I really would have liked to learn more about the characters and their back stories. In the first story, "Over the Edge". He had first met Lauren when they were both on an off shore oil rig, but we never heard how they interacted on there. We mostly learned about them when they were sleeping together. In the second story, "All on the Line". Sean and Abby had dated before and then when he was deployed so he broke it off with her to concentrate on his men and his job. The sex scenes were great. Both stories included a threesome, which I for one really enjoy. In both stores they had great chemistry between the characters. They were very in love with each other even before they admitted it to each other. This is one great author.(less)
