I love books about Doctors, especially female Doctors ! Devin is an emergency room doctor, who sees her friend Tricia. Tricia is pregnant with twins and while staying with her brother, Cole, she falls and hurts her ankle. She also shows signs of starting labor, but since its early, they give her stuff to stop it. Devin goes to Cole's house to help him with his 2 kids, whose Mother just died. Cole is surly and at times rude. His Father showed up out of the blue and is trying to get to know his grandkids and son, whom he walked out on after his wife died. Tricia left her husband when she thought he didn't want her and their babies. She goes into labor and Sean shows up. I love what he tells her when she is having contractions.
Devin and Cole get together at the very end of the book, after only having kissed a few times, they admit they love each other on Christmas Eve! I wanted to see the kids open their gifts in the book, but it was a great story
