Jessie becomes a surrogate for a couple. Due to a mixup at the clinic, the man is not the father of her baby (it is her egg). The clinic tells Jessie the father of her baby is Jacob McCoy, she goes to find him. When Jacob meets Jessie he practically falls in love right there, before he learns she is carrying his baby. He had given sperm because of a job with the fire department.
Jacob and Jessie fall into a relationship, but someone else wants Jessie for himself and when he kidnaps her, Jacob may never see her again.
The copy I read was the Sweeter version, so it had sex scenes but not as explicit as the other book. There are 2 of each book, one explicit and one Sweeter Version, please read according to your preferences, I have read both types of the books, and wow those are some hot and steamy sex scenes!
