On Mystic Lake by Kristin Hannah

I could read this book every day, so great, I almost cried a few times. Annie separated from her 40 yer old husband when he told her he was in love with a 28 year old coworker. Nick is her best friend from childhood whose wife committed suicide with his police gun. Nicks daughter is Izzy, and she doesn't talk, until Annie becomes her nanny. Wonderful story, sad at times. The ending is left hanging, she doesn't see Nick she just gets to the highway and decides to head North towards Nick and her hometown, then it's over. I wanted to see her go to Nick and tell him she's going to divorce her husband and wants to be with him.
